Even in the difficult economic climate that has made job markets extraordinarily difficult, many Emory graduates are finding success.  Below is a sample of positions obtained by Emory graduates this spring.

  • Alysa Shcherbakova has accepted the position of a Financial Economist with the Credit Risk Analysis Division of The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).  OCC is a bureau of the U.S. Department of the Treasury that charters, regulates, and supervises all national banks.

  • Olivia Jones Choplin has accepted a tenure-track assistant professor position in French at Elon University. 
  • Lucie Knight has accepted a position as Fellow in Arabic at Franklin and Marshall College, where she was hired to build the Arabic program.
  • Domenica Newell-Amato has accepted a tenure-track assistant professor position in French and Italian at Eastern Illinois University.

  • Nathan Digby accepted a teaching position at La Universidad San Francisco de Quito in Ecuador.
  • Jocelyn Hendrickson accepted a tenure track position at Whitman College in Washington. 
  • Amy Levad accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Moral Theology at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota.
  • Antoinette de Napoli accepted a Visiting Assistant Professorship at Grinnell College in Iowa.
  • Anjulet Tucker accepted a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor of Sociology of Religion at Boston University School of Theology.
  • Benjamin Stewart accepted a position teaching liturgy and theology at the Lutheran Seminary in Chicago.  
  • Almeda Wright is taking a position as the Assistant Professor of Youth Ministry in the Religion Department of Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC.
