Call for Proposals, "International Modernisms between the Wars"

“International Modernisms between the Wars,” an Interdisciplinary Research Seminar for fall 2009 sponsored by The Fox Center for Humanistic Inquiry, invites proposals of work-in-progress, not finished papers.

Proposals should present the issues that provoked inquiry, the questions selected for investigation, the research materials and methods of the approach. Discussion will follow. 

Please send one-page proposal to Lois Overbeck (lois.overbeck@emory.edu) and Alice N. Benston (abensto@emory.edu) by September 8. Selected graduate student participants will receive a $100 research award.

Colloquia meetings will be held from 4-6 at the Fox Center seminar room on October 22 and November 18.
