EmoryCard
As an Emory student, you will need an EmoryCard. It identifies you as a member of the Emory Community, and is also required for access to campus services (i.e. library, building entry, recreation centers).
You need to have your EmoryCard ready when the semester begins. Keep reading for instructions on obtaining an EmoryCard and information about pick-up.
Submit a Photo
New LGS students are required to have an uploaded and approved photo of themselves and an image of their government ID by the following deadline:
- Fall 2023: July 1
Failure to have an uploaded and approved photo by the above deadline will delay your orientation and start of courses.

Pick up Your EmoryCard
EmoryCards will be available for pick-up with your program in August, shortly before LGS Orientation. Watch for emails and updates to this page for specific dates. In order to pick up your EmoryCard, you must present a government-issued Photo ID (i.e. driver’s license, passport, or something similar) to verify your identity.
