Grant Writing Program

Invest in your career! The Grant Writing Program can help you to develop the skills you need to seek out and secure funding for research and post-doctoral projects. Informational sessions are offered for students at all stages of their careers, and several working sessions are offered for students at different stages of developing actual grant or post-doc proposals.

About the Program

The Laney Graduate School's Grant Writing Program addresses every stage of grant proposal writing: developing fundable projects, presenting projects in persuasive ways, and tailoring proposals to specific funders.

The program is designed so that you can participate in a series of forums and workshops that build on one another and help you to develop your proposal and dissertation project. Students that progress through the entire program report tremendous success in obtaining external funding and fellowships. Other successful students attend only a few of the information sessions and workshops.
