NSF-GRFP Info. Session

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program (GFRP) recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students in NSF-supported science, technology, engineering, and mathematics disciplines. Students who are in their first year of study are eligible to apply. Fellows benefit from a three-year annual stipend of $34,000 along with a $12,000 for tuition and fees (paid to the institution), and opportunities for international research and professional development.

This NSF-GRFP Forum is coordinated with the NSF-GFRP workshop, and students are encouraged to attend both the Forum and the Workshop.  In these events you will learn from Emory faculty and experienced graduate students how to create an application with the potential for success.  You will be introduced to the process for assembling a GRFP application, the cycle and timeline for the GRFP competitions in your field, and tips to help you compose a GRFP proposal that speak directly to the program guidelines. You will also begin to form a community with other graduate students from varying fields who are considering applying to the GRFP.  Light refreshments will be served.
